I have worked in the non profit sector both in front line and management roles in a range of services dealing with complex issues for over 20 years. My training as a counsellor gave me a deeper understanding of the issues people were approaching me with. In addition to the Person Centred approach, I have trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Motivational Interviewing. I have a special interest in addiction, bereavement, couples and workplace wellbeing.

I have a foundation degree and BA (Hons) in Person Centred Couselling and Psychotherapy from the University of Warwick and an MA in Human Resources Management from De Montfort University.

In my practice, I offer a safe and confidential space where you can develop an understanding of your own responses to uncomfortable feelings, change and life events. The Person Centred element of my practice is to validate you as the expert of your experience and the ACT part of my practice works towards who and what is important to us and understanding that our behaviour is contextual.

As a registered BACP member, I am bound by their code of ethics. Furthermore I receive regular clinical supervision to ensure my practice is safe.

As a confidential service, you can be confident that your personal information will be kept safe and secure. I adhere to current data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (EU/2016/679) (the GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.
